Dress-Up

The other day, I came downstairs to the girls all dressed up in their princess dresses. They still haven't outgrown dress-up. Honestly, I'm surprised Peyton still fits in to the some of the dresses they tried on.  The girls asked me to "judge" them on their walk and give them a score between 1 and 10.  They've been watching too much Dancing with the Stars!  I loved how they pulled their looks together, accessories and all!

Kidz Bop Concert

Last week, I saw that Kidz Bop was performing at the House of Blues.  We have all the Kidz Bop Cd's and the girls love listening to their music. I knew it would be fun to see them live in concert so I bought tickets.  The girls had a great time at the concert.  They were both so close to the stage and sang along to all the songs.  One of the singers came down the stairs to the audience and Logan got a high five!

Crystal Cove

Peyton's Girl Scout troop had a field trip today at Crystal Cove. My friend and I went a little early so the girls could play at the beach. We met up with the troop to learn about all the sea creatures around the tide pools.

Ladybugs Everywhere

A few weeks ago, my neighbor planted some new flowers around her house. She told me about a bag of ladybugs that she bought to put around the flowers because the ladybugs eat all the little bugs and spiders. So one night, just before it got dark, my neighbor watered her new flowers and then spread the ladybugs throughout the planter.  Well, Logan was completed fascinated by all of it! So my friend bought Logan her own bag of ladybugs to release in our yard. The girls really wanted to keep some, so we went to Lakeshore and bought two little Ladybug Lands. They had a lot of fun spreading them all around our yard, as well as our neighbors.

Lovin Softball

Peyton is LOVING softball! I didn't realize when I signed her up that she would have 2 games a week, on top of possibly 2 practices a week! 4 days a week of softball has got her loving it! I'm not loving the schedule, but thanks to my friend and Grammie, she's basically managed to make it to all her practices and games. There are only 3 games left for the regular season and then it's on to the tournament. Here are some pictures from her game last night. It was so windy and bright at the game so Geoff put the eye black on her. She got a hit, but she was thrown out at first. We're just happy she made contact!
