JT and Jay Z Concert

Last month, Geoff and I went to the JT/Jay Z concert at the Rose Bowl with a group of our friends. We had a limo take us to the venue, and thank goodness we did because the traffic was an absolute nightmare on the 210 freeway.

I thought the concert was AMAZING! It completely flowed perfectly. I wasn't sure how the two would interact on stage but it ended up being a little JT, and then a little Jay Z, and then a little of both, and so on... The concert lasted a little over 2 hours and I loved every minute of it! So much fun!!!

Soccer and Cheerleading

Last week, Logan had her first soccer practice. Daddy hooked her up with some new Nike cleats. They are super bright! I didn't get a chance to see her first practice because I was in Idaho but Geoff said she did really well.

I thought I would never say this... I have a cheerleader on my hands! We signed up Peyton for cheer! She's loving it more than any other sport she has played. Check the big ol bow in her hair!

Pasta Party

Twice a year, my sister and dad host a ravioli making party at my parent's house. The girls absolutely love going to the party. You can check out some photos of one of the prior parties here.  Peyton enjoys making the dough and rolling it out. While Logan likes making the pasta sauce and playing with flour. Wearing black was a big mistake because I had white little handprints all over me.

{Peyton's all ready for the pasta party}  My sis took this on her phone.

Palm Desert

Last month, we took a family vacation for a week in Palm Desert. We spent about 90% of the time in the pool since it was over 105 degrees the entire time we were there. My friend and her daughter came out to stay a couple days which was nice. One of the highlights of the trip was Logan learned to swim with out her floaties. On the second day we were there, she got in the pool, took her floaties off, and she just started swimming!
