Not Feeling So Well... Trip to Urgent Care

The girls woke up Monday with fevers, coughs, running noses, etc. I figured the best thing to do was to take them to the doctors to make sure they were ok. I always want to make sure they don't have ear infections so I feel like the minute they get a fever and running nose... I'm off to the doctors. Peyton was very excited to keep her jammies on since we left so early in the morning. Once we got to the doctors, both girls were great! Logan cried a bit when the doctor was checking her ears. Peyton did such a great job, she is such a big girl now. She wasn't nervous when the nurse checked her blood pressure or when the doctor was checking her throat and ears. They ended up testing her for strep, thank goodness the results came back negative. The doctor said Logan had an ear infection and Peyton had a viral infection so make sure she gets lots of rest and plenty of fluids.

After the doctor's we went home and Logan napped for over 2 hours, which she really needed! Once she woke up, we had lunch and decided to go outside and play since it was so nice outside. I gave the girls new bubble blowers for Valentine's Day (which didn't work so well) and we headed to the backyard. For whatever reason, we couldn't get the darn things to blow bubbles. Logan ended up just dumping her bubbles all over the floor.

Once the girls were over the bubbles, we watered Peyton's garden. I can't believe how fast everything is growing! The spinach looks great and I checked the carrots, and they are finally growing too! In about a month we should have some really nice carrots for the girls to eat. They aren't into the lettuce or spinach so we'll see how they do with the carrots.

The rest of the afternoon we played soccer and baseball in the backyard. Peyton is going to be a great soccer player, she's got a foot on her. I can't wait to sign her up for soccer! So darn cute!

Grammie came over once she was finished at work to spend time with the girls. She picked up Wahoo's for dinner... one of our favorites! Grammie is a lifesaver and she has helped out so much since Geoff went to Arizona. Thank you Grammie!
