Peyton woke up this morning jumping and rolling in her bed screaming...daddy comes home tonight!!! It was so cute! She also said, "Mommy, I think daddy missed me the most because he likes me the bestest." I giggled and told her daddy missed everyone! Geoff's flight doesn't land at OC Airport until 9:15 p.m. so I'm hoping the kids stay up for his arrival. They are both so excited, so I'm sure they will stay up. Heck, they can sleep in tomorrow!
Yesterday, we had the carpets and dining room chairs cleaned at the house... which was awesome! The carpets look brand new and the yucky stains are gone! Now, hopefully we can keep them clean.
I took some pictures of the girls last night... heck I take pictures of the girls practically every night. :)
This picture of Logan makes me laugh.

One More Day!!!
Daddy returns home tomorrow evening, and we're soooo excited! We all can't wait to see him!
My trip to Arizona this past weekend was great! Geoff and I went to dinner Friday and Saturday night. We went to a restaurant called My Big Fat Greek Restaurant… which I LOVE! During the day on Saturday I updated the girls baby books. I ended up going to the Angels game during the 6th inning and then hung out with Geoff after the game while he finished working. He introduced me to several players, which I had no idea who half of them were. Where is the team from 2002 that I knew so well? I obviously know Scot Shields and Torii Hunter, other than that, I'm not sure who the heck I met. But, they were all very nice! Saturday night we went to Mastro's City Hall which was really nice and really packed full of baseball players. Geoff seemed to know half the crowd dining! We sat across from Torii Hunter, Derek Lee, and a bunch more players who I don't remember. It was really fun and the food was awesome! I had an early flight home on Sunday so I was able to spend the entire day with the girls.
Grammie watched the girls over the weekend and she said they were great for her which is so comforting. They were perfect angels. Grammie picked me up from the airport and the girls were in the baggage claim area when I arrived. It was the best "Welcome Home" ever! They were both so excited to see me coming down the elevator. I wish I had it on tape, it was truly that cute!
It was so beautiful on Sunday, so Grammie made a stop at Target and picked up a swimming pool for the girls. We filled it up and the girls played in the water. I'm very excited they will have swim lessons this summer. I did some gardening as well and my legs still hurt today, two days later!

Arizona Here I Come
Tomorrow I'm heading to Arizona to visit Geoff... without the kids. Grammie is going to watch the girls for us, which is wonderful! I leave tomorrow afternoon and return Sunday morning. During the day I plan on updating the girls baby books. I pretty much have them done but I wanted to add a little something something to them. Like scrapbooking stuff, spice them up a bit. Geoff and I will head out to dinner on Friday and Saturday. I will miss the girls so much! Tomorrow, Peyton will be going to Momma K's with Logan. She's so excited to play with all her old friends.
Geoff comes home in less then a week. Peyton asks me every day, "how many more days till daddy comes home?" I told her six more days and she said, "that's not much mommy."

Doctor's Visit
On Monday, Logan was sneezing a bit and she had watery eyes... signs she was coming down with a cold. The last couple nights I put the humidifier on in her room and rubbed Vicks on her chest (which completely makes her giggle when I rub it in). I ended up getting a call at work from Momma K and she said Logan just wasn't herself today. She seemed ok this morning when she woke up but, K said she was outside playing for a while and when she came in, her nose was really runny. So, I figured I would set a doctor's appointment since I'm leaving for AZ on Friday and I wanted to make sure she was ok. K gave Logan Motrin, which is a miracle, and she seemed to be better the rest of the day.
I was lucky enough to score an appointment the same day as I set the appointment! The appointment was with a new doctor, who I really liked! She checked Logan's ears and she has a bit of fluid in one and it was red. So she decided on a new antibiotic since Logan is allergic to amoxicillin (and Peyton too). She's required to take it once a day for 10 days. I really hope this medicine works! The last medicine I gave her, came right back out and I could never tell if she even got any. She obviously hated the taste. After her first dose tonight, she said... Yucky! Apparently, it doesn't taste all that good either. Logan's right eye keeps watering so she prescribed eye drops as well. I really hate it when our girls are not feeling well. I'm just glad I decided to take her to the doctors, hopefully I caught her ear infection early enough so it gets better before it gets worse. So far, Logan's had more ear infections than Peyton ever had. When Geoff was little, he had tubes in his ears... let's hope Logan doesn't have to go through the same thing as daddy.

Flowers, Flowers and More Flowers!
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Peyton's school. So yesterday, we brought Peyton's teacher baked goods in a cute little box which Peyton decorated with My Pretty Pony stickers. Today, we were asked to bring flowers from our garden or they could be store bought. We have no flowers in our yard, but we do have lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits. So I took a trip to Costco during lunch yesterday to get the teacher's favorite flowers, Gerber Daisies (which I love too). I was bummed because last Thursday I went to Costco and they had a dozen Gerber Daises in tons of beautiful colors for $8.99. Not so much yesterday, they only had tulips. Which I do like however, the teacher said she liked Gerbers. So I ended up with a beautiful arrangement that had Gerber Daisies in it for $14.99. I'm so amazed by the colors of Gerber Daisies, especially when they come in multiple colors. So Grammie ended up helping me put the arrangement in a vase last night and it turned out beautiful! Peyton was very excited to bring them to school this morning. Here is a picture of the flowers, aren't the Gerber Daisies so pretty! Can you see the note Peyton made for her teacher next to the flowers?
Tonight, Peyton had to make a card for her teacher, which she has to bring to school tomorrow. Peyton started off by making a flower with crayons. Logan wanted to color too so we set her up with paper and crayons. Peyton finished with crayons, and we moved to paint. We picked some leaves in the garden, then Peyton painted the leaves and then we stamped them on to the paper to make leaves for the flower. She did a great job painting however, she insisted on making pink grass. Here are pictures of the girls coloring and the finished card for Peyton's teacher. So cute huh!
Today is my sixth anniversary at the firm, I can't believe it's six years already!! Time flies!!! So when I arrived this morning at the office, I had a dozen of the brightest pink roses you could ever find and a card from my boss. What a nice surprise that was. They are so beautiful and they smell so good.

Preschool Sunday and Visit to Grandma and Papa's House
Peyton decided she wanted to wear her Easter dress to Preschool Sunday. I figured it would be ok since she wanted to wear a special dress and according to her, she wanted to look the prettiest. She picked her headband and shoes as well. I let the girls sleep in this morning which was a mistake because we had to be at the school at 9:30 a.m. Logan woke up around 8:30 and Peyton woke up around 8:45. So we rushed to eat breakfast and get our clothes on. Grammie to the rescue!! Grammie was going to meet us at the school but instead she came to our house first to help get the girls ready, which totally saved me. We ended up getting to the school a couple minutes early and Yazmin was able to save us two seats in the front, which was great! The kids performed two very cute songs. Once the performance was over, the church had prepared lunch, rented a bounce house and there were pony rides too. The kids had a great time and they both were sad when we left.
The girls screamed... CHEESE! I love this picture!
We ended up picking up lunch on the way home and we had a picnic outside since the weather was so nice. I ended up setting up the Dora Bubble Blower and I set up paint and water for the girls to play with. They ended up making a huge mess of themselves and outside... but they had a great time! They went straight in to the tub because paint was everywhere on them!
We headed to Grandma and Papa's house around 5:00 p.m. Auntie Carol helped us make pretzels to give to Peyton's teacher. They were so yummy and we ended up making some with cinnamon and sugar, which is my favorite! We pretty much ate the first batch once they came out of the oven. We had pasta and steak for dinner. Peyton was a member of the clean plate club and Logan must have had 5 helpings of pasta... literally! We were all shocked at how much Logan ate. So once dinner was finished, the girls headed back to the tub. Peyton asked Grandma if she could help, which she so nicely agreed to. The girls love taking a tubby in Grandma and Papas huge tub. Logan kept saying she was going swimming. So we ended up heading home before 9:00 p.m. Both girls fell asleep on the way home, which is always a plus in my book. Off to bed I go! This is going to be a busy week. I'm off on Friday and heading to Arizona to spend time with Geoff. I will miss the girls SOOO much!
Here is a picture of Grandma showing the girls how to play the piano. Peyton wanted to play Elmo's World for Logan.

Sleepover at Grammie's House and The Beach
Last night we headed to Chick Fil A for dinner with the kids. Peyton loves this restaurant... because of the playground and the silly cow. Once the girls finished eating, they headed into the playground. It always amazes me when there are tons of kids in the play area and no parents to be found. There was one little boy who was trying to throw a toy hot wheels car at his sister. I tried warning the boy not the throw it because it could hurt someone. He just looked at me like, come on lady, do you think I'm going to listen to you. Well, once he threw the car at grammie, it was all over. There was a group of six kids that were acting crazy and the parents never once checked on the them during the 20 minutes or so we were in the play area. Why is that so shocking to me? And these kids were between the ages of 3 and 7 max. I don't get it, because there kids were out of control!
Peyton's sleepover at Grammie's house was a success! Grammie got Peyton a new sleeping bag too, though she didn't sleep in it yet. Peyton slept well and had a really good time. Logan was very excited to see her sister in the morning when we arrived at Grammie's house.
I had another soccer game today so Grammie watched the girls. My soccer game on the other head, was not a sucess. I hurt my right leg about five minutes in to the game. I took a corner kick that I should not have. So I have iced my leg throughout the day and wrapped it with an ace bandage. I made the mistake of putting Atomic Bomb (like Tiger Balm but waayyy stronger) on my leg and it has this tingly sensation and I can't fall asleep. I want to wash it off now!
I picked the girls up from Grammie's house and headed to the beach. It was a little cold at the beach and foggy too, but the girls really wanted to go in the water. We only let the big girls go in the water for 20 minutes since it was so cold. They were shivering and Peyton had pink legs from being so cold. Logan didn't go in the water but, she did eat sand! The girls had a great time at the beach. We ended up staying at our friend's house for dinner. The girls played dress up, watched Princess and the Frog and danced to music. We headed home around 8:30 since Peyton has Preschool Sunday in the morning.
After a warm shower... they were much happier (and warm)!
The girls were watching Princess and the Frog.
The girls playing dress up. They claimed they were dressing up for their wedding. :)
Logan loved watching the little fishes swim. I need to buy her one of these!

Beach Bound
We are definitely beach bound this weekend since the weather is going to be so nice! The girls absolutely love going to the beach. Hopefully, Logan is past the whole eating sand thing. It completely grosses me out to hear her chomp on sand. As Peyton would say, "That's disgusting."
We have a fun filled weekend planned, once again! Grammie picked up Peyton today from school and she's going to have a sleepover at Grammie's house tonight. Grammie picked up Logan too so I'm going to have dinner with all the girls and then I'm taking Logan home. I've got another soccer game tomorrow in the late morning. I'm hoping our team does better than that last week, may I not be in pain like the last game. Once I'm finished with soccer, I'm picking the girls up from Grammie's house and heading to the beach to meet Peyton's' friends (and mommies too). I'm hoping to get there while it's still warm outside. This will be our first time at the beach in 2010 with bathing suits on, not me, the girls. :)
On Sunday, we are going to Peyton's school for Preschool Sunday at church. The kids will be performing songs in front of the entire church. Once mass is over, the kids get to play outside. They also rented a bounce house and are providing us with lunch too. Peyton is so excited!!! I'm hoping to take some video of the performance… if I get a good seat.

St. Patrick's Day
Grammie picked up the girls today. I got home from work and we all decided to go outside to play because it was so nice at 6:30 p.m. We went for a mini walk and Peyton rode on her scooter and Logan rode her Little People bus. We ended up heading to dinner a bit late and tried to get in to Polly's Pies. Apparently, they are one of the few restaurants that serves corn beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day because it was packed! Big mistake to get the kids out of the car, head in to the restaurant, to realize we weren't eating any time soon. So we got back in the car (both girls were crying there eyes out at this point) and we headed to Corner Bakery. Logan finally stopped crying once we got in to the restaurant. Next time, we eat first and then go outside to play.
We didn't get home until close to 8:30 so the girls took a quick tub and we got them ready for bed. Peyton put on her new PJ's from Cousin Nick's birthday party and she looked so darn cute. Logan's new pajamas are a bit too big so she will be wearing those closer to summer time. Right before Grammie was leaving, Peyton bumped her head on daddy's speaker. So she put her butterfly ice pack on her eye so it would feel better.
Here are a couple pictures from this morning. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
