This year we celebrated 4th of July with our friends in Orange during the day. There is a HUGE block party and parade where the theme is, the more the merrier. There were so many kids, families, etc. enjoying all the festivities. Geoff had to work in the early evening so the girls and I went to my parent's house for dinner and that's where we watched various fireworks shows.
I made these 4th of July cupcakes with a little help from Logan. They were a big hit at the party. They are vanilla cupcakes with a chocolate covered star pretzels and blue and red M&M's. I was super happy the way they turned out.

Around 7:00 p.m., we left our friend's block party and headed to my dad's house in Anaheim Hills. The house across the street from my parent's house was hosting a party and they have an amazing view of Orange County. We were able to catch about 5 firework shows at once. The girls got to try out sparklers too.
