Sawdust Winter Fantasy

The girls, Grammie and I went to the Sawdust Winter Fantasy on Saturday in Laguna Beach. The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day! We arrived early to beat the crowds. By the time we left, it was packed inside. There was so much for us to do at the festival. The girls made bracelets, made an art project at the art studio, met Santa Claus, played with some bunnies at the petting zoo, watched a magician, played in the snow, shopped for some of a kind gifts and got a chance to meet and watch many of the exhibitors that create and sell their creations. We will definitely be back next year!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
Peyton wanted a picture in Santa's chair before he arrived.
The girls loved the petting zoo.

The girls had so much fun at the art studio.  Logan made this cute snowman.
Peyton made a snow flake.

My Mini Vacation to Oregon

I recently took a trip with my mom and dad to visit my sister in Oregon. It was a wonderful trip (besides a little episode in the ER). The weather was perfect for fall. We did a lot of shopping, a whole lot of eating and we even went to see a play in downtown Portland. The trip went by so fast but I had a great time with my family.

Doesn't he look like the Godfather?  Love this picture of my daddy.

Halloween (Just a Little Late)

I know, I'm a little late posting about Halloween. What can I say, I've been busy.

Let's start out my saying, I'm not one to decorate a whole lot for Halloween. However, my sister Karen came in for a visit and she hooked up our house with a whole bunch of decorations for Halloween. My house has never been this decorated for anything. The girls loved it and had a lot of fun making our house spooky for the holiday.

The day before Halloween, Geoff, the girls, and our neighbors carved pumpkins and then went to Tanaka Farms for the afternoon.  Unfortunately, I had to work.  Boo.

We went trick or treating with our friends in Tustin Ranch for the 4th year in a row.  Such a great neighborhood for trick or treating.  The girls had a blast and got tons of candy.
