Arizona for the Weekend

We decided to take a quick trip to Arizona to spend some time with dad. Grammie joined us as well for the wonderful car ride to Arizona. It took us about 6 hours to get there. By my calculations, I think the girls only asked 20 times, "Are we there yet?"

We headed to Rustler's Rooste for dinner on Friday night. Dinner was so yummy. For dessert, they bring the kids cotton candy. Logan wasn't too sure about the cotton candy. She's got a thing for textures and the cotton candy creeped her out. We went to the same restaurant last year around the same time for Logan's birthday.

It was a beautiful day! This picture was taken on the patio of the restaurant.

Geoff's sister lives in Arizona so we got a chance to spend the day with her family. The weather was amazing so we hung out by the pool Saturday afternoon.

Happy 4th Birthday Logan!

I can't believe she's already four!  Love this little picture of her.

We had breakfast with our neighbors at a local restaurant that serves up the yummiest food. My neighbor brought candles so we could sing happy birthday to Logan. She was being so shy!

Grammie came over and spent the day with us. She got Logan the cute little Hello Kitty shirt she is wearing.

Logan, Peyton and our neighbor got their hair done.

She was over the picture taking.

Lunch at Logan's favorite restaurant... Wahoos!

Sunday Fun Day

The girls had a singing and dance party Sunday morning. They are totally in to Kids Bop 21 right now. Logan can be so animated when she sings. She makes me giggle!

On Sunday morning, Peyton's friend came over for a play date. We decided to go to the mall and have lunch at Rainforest Cafe. We did a little shopping, had some lunch, went on the mini carousel and picked up some cookies at Mrs. Fields. The girls had so much fun at South Coast.

Rainforst Cafe can be so loud!

Elevators can be so fascinating!

In the afternoon, we headed to Auntie Carol's house to celebrate Andrew's birthday.  Peyton is holding the giant cupcake, drizzled with frosting.  It was a molton chocolate cake and it was delicious!  Happy Birthday Andrew!

Softball and a Birthday Party

Peyton started her first season of softball. Of course it had to start right after the hubs left for spring training. Peyton is so excited to have her good friend on the team. She's had two practices so far and she is really loving it! Can you guess what her team name is??? If you guessed The Angels, you're correct.

The Team

We celebrated our good friend's 4th birthday at Build-A-Bear. After the kids made their bears, we headed to a cute little cupcake shop across the way. Such a cute birthday party!
The Birthday Girl

After the party, the girls and I walked around Fashion Island for a bit.  Time for some more pictures of the girls!   The girls have never seen koi fish so we had to stop by the little pond. They thought the fish were scary.  We headed home before dinner because it was getting too cold outside.
