Memorial Day Weekend

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went to a friend's 4 year old daughter's birthday party with Carol and Andrew. The house where the party took place was AMAZING! The girls couldn't believe their eyes when we walked in to the house, it was beautiful. The party took place on the third level of the property where the girls could ride ponies, play on the playground or go for a ride in the Jeep. We stayed after the party was over and headed to the second level, where the swimming pool was located. The girls had so much fun! They can't wait to go back for movie night in the 30 seat theater.  They even have their own lake!

Origami Classes

Peyton just finished her 4th week of origami class and she's loving it. A flyer came home from the school about the origami class a little over a month ago. I thought it would be great for Peyton and it would help her to learn to focus a bit more. Well, she started making little puppies and kittens and now, she's making horses, hats and so much more. She is so proud of her work and she loves to show us her creations as soon as she gets home from school on Wednesdays. #proudmom

Hip Hop Class and Dinner at The District

Yesterday, the girls and I had a super busy day. The girls started their hip hop class at the Boys and Girls Club. The girls were so excited to find out that they were the only ones in the class! An entire hour with the girls and their teacher. It was so stinkin cute to watch them dance. I LOVED it!  The girls will be going to class every Saturday.

After dance class, I took the girls to get hair cuts.  Peyton got a trim but Logan got about 3 or 4 inches cut off.  After visiting the salon, we met our good friends at The District for dinner.

All Dressed Up

My dad bought Logan this cute little outfit for her birthday. Doesn't she look all grown up in these photos? My baby girl is growing up too fast!

Sleeping Beauties

Last night, the girls fell asleep in the same bed. I went to check on them and I couldn't resist taking a picture. If only they could be this sweet to each other all the time.  #snugglebuddies

The End of a Fun Softball Season

This year, Peyton's softball team finished third in her division. Once the regular season was over, they moved on to a tournament. The tournament was double elimination and her team ended up winning the whole thing this past Saturday. They were undefeated! This is Peyton's second year of softball and both years, her team has won the final tournament.

It was a long day at the softball field. Peyton had to be at the field by 8:00 a.m. Game time was 9:00 a.m. Once her game was over, we waited for some other divisions to finish their games. Next up was closing ceremony where the girls received their tournament trophies. Then, they saved the best for last. This league does a huge shaving cream fight after closing ceremonies. The girls had an absolute blast spraying anyone that came within a couple feet of them! Thank goodness for my big camera lens. I stood in the "safe" zone to capture all the fun.

{She's happy she found a stick the shape of an L during the game}

{Peyton was up to bat twice, she walked and struck out}

{our pitcher was on fire the entire game}

{yeah, we won the tournament}
