Killer Cleats End of Season Party

We finally had our end of the season party for Peyton's spring team, Killer Cleats. It was great seeing all the girls and parents again. The girls had so much fun swimming. So we're officially done with softball for about 6 weeks. Except for a few clinics the girls will be attending throughout the summer.

Angels Game... Finally!

We finally made it to an Angels game! Since every weekend has been dedicated to softball, I think we've only gone to 1 or 2 games this whole season. I surprised the girls and we headed to the stadium. Geoff's aunt, uncle and cousin were there too so we snuck up and sat in great seats. At the end of the game, we got a chance to say hi to dad on the field. Girls had a great time acting crazy the entire game!

End of the Season All Star Party

This past Sunday, Peyton's all star team got together for the end of the season party.  Logan was in the pool from the time the party started until we left, around 9:30.  I swear she only took a half hour break out of the water.  The party was perfect and all the parents enjoyed the video of photos that were captured throughout the all star season.  I made photo albums as well for the girls and a special one for the head coach.  The best gift was the megaphone for the coach since she has such a soft voice.  We met so many new softball families and I'm sad this all star season is over. On to U10 softball we go after this weekend. We've got the Killer Cleats team party this weekend...

A Visit from Geoff's Family

Geoff's sister and her family came to visit us tonight. Since they live in AZ, we don't see them often enough. The kids enjoy playing together and they all get along so well.  I so wish they lived closer.

The Final All Star Post

Peyton had her final all star tournament this past weekend in Laguna Niguel. The last five weeks went by so fast! 14 wins and 145 runs scored, how awesome is that?

All Star Tournaments

For the last three weeks, our lives have been completely consumed with softball. Tournaments take place in various cities over the course of a weekend. So far, we've played in three tournaments. We had a mini vacation in San Diego over Memorial Day weekend and the girls had an absolute blast! The best part of the San Diego trip was bringing home the first place trophy. I volunteered to be the team photographer so I feel like I'm watching the games through my camera lens.
