A Special Birthday Party

The girls and I celebrated our good friend's 6th birthday this past weekend. They had a huge bounce house with a slide, the kids got to build a lego set, we sang and danced, the girls learned about chickens and where eggs come from, we played Wii Just Dance, we watched Abe play his guitar and ate super delicious tacos. We stayed so long that we got to have tacos for lunch and dinner. It was so much fun to spend the day with special friends.

I could watch this video over and over again.  It really makes me giggle.  Check out Logan's fancy foot work.

More Softball

Peyton had two softball games this weekend.  One on Friday night and another on Saturday afternoon.  She is loving softball!
Heading up to bat.

Peyton played catcher for the first time.

This is how she rolled to the softball game.

Weekend Full of Softball

Peyton had opening ceremonies for softball this past Friday evening. It was a bit chilly outside so the girls got to wear their new Angels sweatshirts. They wore these cute little halo headbands as well.

Peyton had her first softball game on Saturday. I was so proud of her. She had a great game, actually, the entire team had a great game. It was super fun to watch and I was so excited because Peyton got a hit without using the batting tee. She already decided she likes softball better than soccer.

Heading out to the first game of the season.  They tied... 12-12.

Peyton's biggest fan!  Go Angels!

A play-by-play of Peyton's hit.

Trike-A-Thon

Logan had a trike-a-thon at her school this past week. We decorated her bike with a Hello Kitty theme. She was so excited the morning of the race and she couldn't wait to get to school. Each class rode around the track for 15 minutes. Logan hit the 12 minute mark and told me that her legs really hurt, but she kept on going. I'll find out how many leaps she completed this week. She was such a happy girl this day. I'm so proud of the her.
