A Sunday Full of Activities

Sunday afternoon, I promised the girls we would go to Toys R Us so they could use a couple gift cards they recently received. The girls really want to wear their rain boots so I said yes, of course. They wanted to find puddles to stomp on prior to getting in the car. I was happy because there weren't any big puddles... just a lot of wind.

We spent about 2 hours at Toys R Us.  The girls checked out EVERYTHING!  They each had a $20 gift card so I told them they needed to spend wisely.  They found the electronic car section and it was hard to pull them away.

Logan really wanted this suitcase, but it wasn't in her budget.

Peyton loved this cute little Hello Kitty pillow, not in her budget either.

Logan ended up with this cute little Hello Kitty Microphone Stand.
She can plug the Ipod in to it and sing along with the songs.

My little Peyton isn't so little anymore.  She goes to a toy store and buys girly stuff.
Bracelets, lip gloss, and hair accessories.

After Toys R Us, we went to my parent's house for dinner.  Grandma and Logan baked Easter cookies and Peyton and I worked on her Star of the Week for school.  More on that later.

Softball Pics

Peyton had her picture taken for her softball league. After the pictures were taken, they had a mini practice. I'm hoping her professional picture turns out.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Logan's school is currently celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. We were provided with a list of some of her teacher's favorite things. On Monday, we brought Logan's teacher a very special flower. On Tuesday, they asked all the kids to make a special card for their teacher. Logan made this card, and Peyton helped with her name.

Her teacher really likes fudge, so we took a trip to See's Candy and picked up some super yummy fudge with nuts. Logan decorated the box to give to her teacher on Wednesday.

Today was a pot luck luncheon for the teachers. We signed up to bring a dessert. I headed to Costco to pick up a batch of cookies. I thought it would be cute to add a personal touch to the container. Logan was so excited to drop them off this morning in the front office.

We picked up some special gift cards to give to her teacher tomorrow. What teacher doesn't like Target and Jamba Juice? Thanks to all those teachers out there!

St. Patrick's Day 2012

We went to our friend's house for a traditional St. Patrick's Day feast. Peyton tried the corned beef but she didn't really like the taste. I was happy she tried it though. I made these cute little cupcakes. I found the idea on Pinterest and made it my own. I started with Vanilla Bean Cake Mix from Trader Joes, added some green food coloring to white frosting, topped it with a few sprinkles and an Andes Mint. So cute and yummy!

Logan all decked out in green.

They are both wearing green under those sweatshirts.
It was freezing outside.

I took some pictures with my camera phone,
pictures cute... quality of pics, not so much.

So Blessed

I'm so blessed to have such an amazing support system while Geoff is away. In one day, I had so much help.

Today, I had to travel to Las Vegas for work. My AMAZING mother in law spent the night to help me out in the morning because I had to be in Long Beach by 7:00 a.m. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed by 2 hours. LB Airport has to be one of the most boring airports in the world. Lucky for me, I had a laptop. I decided to bring the new Adele Live in Concert DVD to watch on the plane. Thank goodness I did, because that DVD passed the time away beautifully since the flight was delayed. I Love Adele.

My WONDERFUL friend picked up Peyton from her Girl Scouts meeting and took her home to Grammie. She's also the WONDERFUL friend that has been helping me out with getting Peyton to her softball practices and games. She even takes pictures during the games so I don't miss a thing.

My SUPER FABULOUS sister took Peyton to Back to School night. I was totally bummed that I missed back to school night. My SUPER FABULOUS sister took this cute little picture of Peyton.

On this crazy day, I ended up home around 8:30. When I got to the front door, these were waiting for me from Grammie and girls. The card was so cute. Peyton is learning to do bubble letters. So she put all our ages on the front of the card. When I opened the card, it said "Welcome home mom."

Thank you to all that have helped me. I'm so blessed!
