Logan's Preschool Graduation

Last week, Logan had her graduation ceremony from preschool. I can’t believe she will be in kindergarten this September. Logan was a little nervous about the graduation because her class was performing two songs. Logan has a bit of stage fright. She says she doesn't like that all the people are watching her and she has a nervous tummy. Well, Logan performed and she did an awesome job. No tears up on stage (that’s a first). She sang her little heart out and truly enjoyed herself. After the classes performed, they had the graduation ceremony. We will really miss all the teachers and friends, and having a faith based education.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to daddy! Here are a few pictures of Geoff and the girls. They are growing up too fast!

Geoff had to work on Father's Day so we celebrated last Wednesday by going to Islands for dinner and then we had family game night. The girls are pretty good at Jenga!

On Father's Day, we went to my brother's house for a chili cook-off.  I Googled "best no bean chili recipe ever" and came up with this chili recipe.  $50 bucks later, I came in 3rd place out of 8. The only ingredient I had was sea salt so I had a whole lot of spices and meat to purchase. My dad was one of the taste tasters and he really had a great time!

The chili cook-off winners!

Auntie Carol made this yummy smores cake.

Talent Show

This past Friday, Peyton and her friend participated in their school’s talent show. They decided to do a hula hoop/dance routine to the song Round and Round by Selena Gomez. There were two shows that took place. The first show was at 9:00 a.m. for the kids at school and second was at 6:00 p.m. for all the parents. The girls did awesome at both! They worked super hard leading up to the show with lots of practices after school to get the routine down. My friend found the cute tank tops at Target and the super sparkly high tops are from Sketchers. I think they looked adorable! Peyton is already looking forward to next year’s show. Here’s a video of the performance that my friend took.
