A Pumpkin Carving Party

This past Sunday, we went to our friend's house for a pumpkin carving party. I didn't have this year's Halloween costumes ready yet so I picked out a couple old costumes we had around the house and told the girls to pick whatever they wanted to be. Logan picked Peyton's 2008 Halloween costume, Alice in Wonderland. I think she made a cute little Alice. Peyton decided she didn't want to select from any of the costumes I chose so she headed upstairs and picked out her own. She came downstairs in her Mike Trout Angels t-shirt, sweat pants and an Angels baseball hat. She told us she's an Angels coach. Perfect!

The girls had fun carving the pumpkins. I had to clean all the seeds and mush out of the pumpkins, which was pretty unsettling for Logan. She was completely grossed out by it all. Peyton ended up making a cat and Logan made a "scary guy". After we carved pumpkins, all the kids enjoyed a Halloween inspired marionette show.
