The Purple Dolphins

Peyton started her second season of soccer this past week. This time around, she's on a team with girls only. Last year, she played on a co-ed team. Practices are once a week, which is great for me. At her first practice, the team decided on their name, which is… The Purple Dolphins. Dad was super excited to learn that she is wearing jersey number 8 this year!

Attempt At Being A Photographer With Logan

Logan and I both woke up very early this morning so I decided to go and take some pictures of her with my new camera lens. We headed to OC Mart Mix as I thought it would be a great place to take pictures. If you have never been there before, you should seriously check it out. On Saturday, my brother and I went to the farmer's market right outside the OC Mart Mix so I got a chance to check it out. Logan and I started out with breakfast and then walked around so I could take some pictures. I was super happy to see that some of the photos turned out pretty good. Towards the end of this post, I changed the effects of some of photos to change it up a bit. Enjoy!

Another favorite.

Logan's Love for Cupcakes

The brightest pink frosting I have ever seen.
Mom, can I have this cupcake for breakfast?
You said, no... I'm going to lick the frosting off any way.

Why can't I just have one cupcake for breakfast... I already ate the frosting!

Mom's birthday

We made fresh lemonade.
The girls wore glasses so the lemon juice wouldn't get in their eyes.
We made strawberry lemonade too.  It was delicious!
Sisterly love at its finest.
More night time swimming.
Auntie Carol and Logan decorated the cake.  Logan took a little sample.
Happy Birthday to You!
Yummy vanilla bean cake from Trader Joes.  It's the best vanilla cake ever!

Happy Birthday Mom... we love you!

A Day of Fun and Gardening

One of Peyton's friends from school came over for a playdate today. The girls did spin art, played Just Dance 2 on Wii, decorated cupcakes, played freeze dance and had a waterballoon toss. Our neighbor joined in on the fun too. We had a Hello Kitty themed cupcake decorating party, which was Logan's choice.

Logan can eat an entire bowl of frosting.

Peyton's cupcake is on the left and Logan's on the right.
Before the waterballoon toss.
Peyton's mini balloon wouldn't pop.
Our new flowers for the garden, which the girls picked out.
