4th of July

4th of July started out great… the kids didn't wake up until 9:30 a.m. That NEVER happens! Daddy had to work so the girls and I packed up the car and headed to Julie's house for a huge block party and parade. We had so much fun and the weather was perfect this year. The festivities started with kids decorating their bikes and scooters for a parade around the block. This neighborhood really gets in to the 4th of July celebration and I loved it! All the houses were decorated and people rented bounce houses, snow cone machines, popcorn machines, etc. It was like a carnival! Peyton and Logan enjoyed the slip n slide in Julie's backyard. Julie's neighbor across the street rented this huge waterslide. Peyton went down the first time by herself but I think it scared her so she ended going down with Lily and Madison. This was by far the best 4th of July and I just loved the smiles on the girls faces because they had so much fun.

After Julie's party, we headed to Annie's house for a BBQ. The kids swam in the pool and danced to music. It was a great 4th of July!!
